Insitu Purchases Tungsten Site Licenses for U.S. Facilities

 

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- July 31, 2009 -- Sensing Systems, Inc. (Sensing) has supplied Insitu, Inc. (Insitu) with site licenses for Sensing’s digital media software development kit, Tungsten, for Insitu’s U.S. facilities. Insitu will integrate Tungsten into its unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) programs.

Tungsten’s versatile architecture makes it the ideal choice for integration into systems that require the capability to ingest, process, and deliver a large number of streams of video, audio, metadata, and annotation. Tungsten offers developers an extensive application programming interface (API) to operate on media from diverse sources (cameras, network streams, archives, etc.) and provide an astonishing level of capabilities.
